Biography
Henry Sloss was born in San Francisco and lived there for the first twenty years or so of his life. He received a B.A. in English at Berkeley and an M.A. from the University of Minnesota. For the next forty years or so he taught English at Washington & Lee University, for the University of Maryland on NATO Bases in Europe, chiefly in Italy, and for Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland, where he lives now.
Retired, he finds that those elements of his life that have always seemed most important to him have become even more vividly so.
